I'm very serious

This morning, as I drive to work, I get a call from my friend. She says to hold on because her 4 year old son wants to talk to me.
"Hi Tia R."
"Hi buddy, what's up?"
"Tia, what are you going to name the baby?"
"What baby?"
"The one that's in you."
"Um, I don't have a baby in me."
"Well, you need to have a baby."
"I do?"
"Yes, you should have a baby."
Sort of chuckling, "Oh-kaaay..um.."
At this point he gets a little quiet and pauses before he says the next words.
"I'm very serious. You need to have a baby."
Then I start to say something, still chuckling a little bit because it's too funny, and he cuts me off.
"No, I'm very serious. You need to have a baby."
"OK, bud. If I have one I'll let you know."
"OK. Bye."

This conversation made me laugh and smile for a while this morning. It was really funny because he was very serious about it all. What a great way to start the day. I needed that.

Hilarious from a four-year-old. Bitchslap-worthy from an adult. ;)
