Another busy weekend. More good times. :)
Friday night I went home and did nothing of any significance other than eat dinner and tell my boys I love them. It was perfect. No rushing around after work to go anywhere and nothing that "had to get done".
Saturday morning we woke up, I made breakfast, and went to Mr. Energy's soccer game. It was nice out in the morning and wasn't hot yet. The game only lasted about an hour and it was fun to watch him run around the little field they had set up for the little guys. He's very competitive and proudly claimed he kicked 5 goals later that day. The league doesn't keep score, but he knows what he did. ;)

Saturday afternoon was Lil Man's second to last regular season game. It was played on the face of the sun and I think I melted about 5 lbs. off my body sitting in the stands. Sadly our team got blown out by the other team and it was a painful game to watch. The other team was good. Really good. And big. I think a couple of those kids had goatees. And man hair.
When the ass whooping was over we went home to kill a couple of hours before Lil Man headed off to a Halloween Carnival with Grandma. He decided to dress up in his costume and join the fun at X-man's school carnival. He came home declaring that he felt stupid and childish at the carnival and will not be dressing up for Halloween. Okay bud...whatever you say. I have no pictures of this to share with you. I suck.
Hubbs and I went out to dinner together since we were without child for the first time in a long time. It was so nice to sit and talk to each other during dinner. We took our time, talked, and just enjoyed the evening. After our grown up time we went home to get dressed for our Halloween party. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking from here...
On Sunday I went to a baby shower. It was long and I only knew a couple of people there, including the momma to be. Oh well, it was a nice time.

Hubbs won Funniest Costume! The prize was $20 and a funny little trophy. How fun! I love winning, even when it's not all me. :)

I got home in time to make grilled cheese for dinner (keepin' it simple!) and hang out with my boys until bed time. It was a good way to wrap up a good weekend. :)

Well-deserved win for the Dorothy costume!
Both of your costumes are fantastic!

Dahahaha love his costume. I'm sad that lil man doesn't want to dress up for halloween, but I guess he IS at that age.
