This year I feel really good about it. I'm better informed than I've been in previous elections and I feel more connected to this vote for some reason. I really feel strongly on Proposition 8 and I want to make sure I'm heard where that is concerned. I'd vote on that Prop alone if I didn't know anything else that was going on.
Do you know where your polling place is located? Have you read the Propositions that could affect your way of life or the life of people you know? I don't care if people vote the same way I do (I'll still love you), I just care that people take advantage of the system that allows us to vote at all. I hope everyone makes the effort either by mailing in your vote or making your way to the polls next Tuesday.

I agree that people should exercise their right to vote, even if it's not the way I'd vote.
I'd prefer, however, if they voted the way I voted, though. ;)
I'm voting on the day of because I want that sticker and Ben & Jerry is giving a free scoop of ice cream for voters!! Whee!
I plan on going to the voting booth first thing in the morning in my PJs ;-)
i'll be one of the poor saps in line on election day, but better than not voting at all. :)
I love going to the polls! The hubs and I go together and make up new propositions in line.
i can't wait to go and pick up my sticker. whee!
I voted by mail too! (But that's because I'll be volunteering all day with No on Prop 8.)
