I'm so bummed. I have to go to a meeting from 6-10 p.m. tonight and won't get to watch the presidential coverage as it unfolds. Who the frick schedules something on election night? Ugh. I'll be antsy as hell all 4 hours.
I expect the reports to be swayed and tedious, but I am so freaking glued to the TV that I don't know what to do with myself. I want to see each state change color on those giant maps each news channel plays with, and I want hear how all the propositions are doing as the evening progresses and votes are counted. I want the info right away and as it happens. I am spoiled and want instant gratification.
I don't wanna go tonight. I want to be at home. Boo.

Oh boo!!!! It's ok, you'll get to skip the tedious stuff and see all the good stuff. But I know what you mean. I've been dying all day.
Thanks also for your comments. :) I didn't mean to disenfranchise you! WeeMo is almost always the first to comment on my posts, like, five seconds after, so I wanted to note her enthusiasm. You do alwyas leave me such encouraging comments, I just love that you stop by and that I can consider all you Cali girls my friends!
I'm sad you missed it. :(
UGGH they need wireless at this meeting so you can at least keep track on CNN.
Booooo. That's a really long meeting at a really late time.
We had a team meeting scheduled for last night. We also had team meetings for most of hte nghts when there were debates. A my dad said (he's Conservative), "Obama's got it in the bag. There is no competition." Thus I was not too worried about missing it. I think we all knew what the outcome would be for quite some time. Had I thought there was more of a competition, I might've watched as I had in prior years.
I am glad the election is over. There was so much craziness and hype. I am eager to see changes be made and get on with it, ya know?
did you get home in time for the good stuff, at least?
i'm sad you had to miss it :(
still an exciting day though!
