Happy Monday

I think this is a happy Monday because I'm blogging here from my room. That's right folks, I'm at home today. I'm off work for the week except for Wednesday. I'm trading out a day so that I can hang with Hubbs on one of his days off later this month. Anyway, the point is that I'm not blogging super early before going to work or super late after a long day. I've got some free time. Yipee!

I'll wrap up the weekend details with a few pictures. We had a really fun time in San Diego this weekend. The rooms a the W were smaller than I expected, the "queen" beds were more like fulls but had awesome pillows, and I was able to walk and dance in 3 inch heels all night.

Entrance and welcome desk. The circular entrance was flanked by these benches and pillows. I didn't get a picture of thee lobby area but they had window benches, huge chess/checkers boards with modern glass markers, and cool decor.

Dinner at Confidential in the gaslamp district. Cool spot and good tapas.

At the club, Stingaree. I think the moms in the group had the most fun. That second pic is of me and one of my best friends just lettin' loose and being silly.

I got hit on by a guy in the VIP section at the club. He watched me for a while and finally sacked up enough to come say hi. Poor guy. He was all excited when he found out we were the same age and from the same ethnic backgrounds. Not so happy when the "do you have a boyfriend" and "are you married" question popped up. Ha ha! Moral of the story is I wasn't an "old mom" Saturday night. Yay!! That's right baby...married, not buried. ;)

We stopped at the outlets in Carlsbad on the way home yesterday and I fell in love with a Coach bag there. *sigh* I love it in red and I'd be equally as happy with it in black. Maybe one day I'll have you leather lunch tote but for now I'll just pretend. :)
