Sweet

Yesterday I was heading out from my office to make a deposit at the bank and get my semi-annual ring cleaning and diamond check up.

*The rings are so shiny and pretty right now!*

I got a call from Hubbs who was supposed to be on his way to his doctor's appointment. I had been bugging the crap out of him to go get a regular physical. He didn't want to be bothered so I set up an appointment, filled out some of the new patient forms, and made sure he knew he needed to get his skinny butt there. I half way wondered if this call was to tell me that he decided not to go after all.

Thankfully I was wrong. Hubbs was calling me to tell me something else.

Hubbs: I wanted to get home a little early before my doctor's appointment and do something nice for you.

Me: Really? Why? You don't have to do anything for me.

Hubbs: Well, I see you sitting in that chair in front of the computer and it looks so uncomfortable. I always think you should have a better chair, so I went and bought you a new one today and wanted to surprise you with it when you got home. Only problem is I don't know how to put it together. I got it all out of the box and have no idea what to do with it now. Can you put it together later?

Me: [insert chuckle] Sure, I can put it together. Thank you, that was very sweet of you.

Hubbs: I tried. Sorry honey.

I still need to finish putting it together, but the thought was much appreciated. So sweet of him. :)

Very sweet!

Also, in between cleanings I like to soak my ring in hot water. It breaks up the gunk (lotion, etc) that builds up around the diamond. A woman at the jewelry store tol dme that. :)
