What to say?

I've been meaning to write some things here for the last week or so. I seem to have nothing and everything going on at the same time. I just can't seem to pinpoint one topic to write about. Should I write about the random phone call I received from SD on Mother's Day? Or how about Lil Man's upcoming field trips that I'll be going on with him? There's always an update on my Auntie and Uncle Kevin...meh. Nothing seems to stick.

I could talk about how, for some strange reason, my outfit of a white t-shirt and jeans has gotten me many male stares today. (I suspect it has something to do with my healthy rack. Or it could be due to my healthy everything squeezing out of said jeans and shirt. Yikes.) Maybe I could share my excitement over the fact that we'll be boarding a plane to New York in 3 weeks? Well, sort of New York, but not really The City. Just Long Island, then Niagara Falls, and then off to Buffalo.

Hey, it's my birthday in 3 weeks too. Want to see what I'd love to get if I could actually afford it? Yeah, that's a good thing to talk about...my on-line window shopping. I'm sure I'll touch on the other stuff at some later point in my blogging.

I want this camera along with a super fancy lens.

Any one of these Coach bags. Yes, I realize they are not necessarily super high end bags but I don't really own anything designer and I think I'd be OK, and less self conscious, carrying one of these around. I would really stick out and look out of place with one of the big boy designers on my shoulder.

I would love to go on this cruise that sets sail next March.

A new lap top would be awesome and is somewhat needed. We've been eyeballing the iMac for a little while now.

A pair of these sparkly babies would be nice.

Realistically, I will have none of these things surprising me on the 32nd anniversary of my birth. And to be honest, I'm OK with that. I don't need "stuff". I really just appreciate when people say, "Happy Birthday" and I get a card or two. I'd also probably feel really uncomfortable spending big bucks on these things for myself and really uncomfortable if someone else spent it on me. Right now I'm just hoping my Dad sends me the birthday check before we head out of town so I can have a little more fun on our trip. :)

Wow. Nice random mix of stuff today huh?

I'm working on hubby about the Mayercraft Carrier. Keep planting the seed on your end! Wait...that sounded dirtier than I meant.

My days have felt that way too lately - an amalgam of things. Weird.

Happy upcoming birthday! You have a very sweet and humble attitude about it all, and it's great :)

OOOOHHH I would love that camera too. And I'm going on Mayercraft! You should go - I went last year and it was crazy, but fun.

My vote is for the camera!! I have been in love with mine since I got it and I promise if you allow yourself this birthday/Christmas/JustBecause gift, you won't regret it!

i kinda like everyone else's ideas about the camera being a big multi-holiday gift. :)

Get the camera! Get the camera! But also look into the Canon cuz I love mine so so much :)

I carry a crappy bag that someone gave my mom two x'mases ago . . . yikes. Talk about fashion disaster :) However, if I ever get a nice designer bag then I feel obligated to take care of it and you know I can barely take care of myself.
